Any dog sold with a limited registration may not be bred from and is subject to a spay/neuter contract. See below;

Buyer agrees to care for said dog in a responsible manner; including (but not limited to): at least annual veterinary checks, parasite checks, vaccinations, prompt medical attention if dog shows signs of illness or injury, proper shelter (with protection from winter & summer temperatures), dog shall not be allowed to roam free, shall be licensed in the area of residence of buyer, and shall have been trained by owner with or without obedience classes at least to the beginning 1 obedience level. X______ Buyers initials. Buyer understands that failure to abide by these guidelines or treating said dog in abusive or neglectful manner may result in repossession of said dog without recourse to buyer. If at any time during said dog’s life, buyer must surrender ownership,said dog must never be sold, given away or transfered except back to the seller, without written permission . Any other transfer of this dog without the sellers written permission shall make the buyer liable for $4,000.00 in punitive damages. In order to obtain a replacement dog , buyer must either return said dog to the seller with all valid AKC papers or get written permission from the seller and a decision can be made for buyer to keep or place it in a suitable home. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs on returning and replacement dog. All AKC papers must be properly signed and returned to the seller. Any pups produced from Wildwood Kennels breeding stock that are sold or resold to pet shops will make buyer liable for $500.00 per pup as liquidated damages. Wildwood Kennels will not knowingly sell a dog which is in ill health or has a known genetic defect that would result in the dog being unable to be a healthy useful animal. Known congenital defects that would not cause the usefulness of the dog to be hampered will be fully disclosed prior to sale. Seller warranties this dog to be in good health at the time of sale. Buyer agrees to take said dog to a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours from time of purchase for a health check. If the dog is determined to be in ill health, the cause of which is clearly attributable to the seller, said dog may, upon presentation of a written diagnosis from said veterinarian, be returned for replacement excluding shipping costs. Buyer is responsible for the initial visit costs and any immunization shots, if given at that visit. |

Warranty |
| Dogs and pups are guaranteed against preventable, disabling or life-threatening diseases which would make said dog unable to function in health and comfort. While our dogs are guaranteed against hip disease,hip dysplasia has not been proven to be solely hereditary; environmental as well as nutritional factors play a role, and are beyond control of seller. Therefore, the following conditions must have been met: |

Buyer agrees to register the dog with AKC and gives updates to the seller. |

2. |
To validate hip guarantee buyer agrees to do a Penn-hip (University Hip Improvement Program) or OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) evaluation on said dog. Diagnosis must be made between 6 months and 24 months of age, with a copy forwarded to the seller. |

3. |
Buyer must follow dietary and exercise recommendations of seller. |
|
4. |
Said dog was not in any accident, never had a self inflicted injury, stifle injuries or kept in an overweight condition. |

Pups are guaranteed against inherited eye disorders. Should a diagnosis of such a disorder be made, a replacement offer of said dog will be made, with the stipulation the dog must be returned to the seller,exceptions noted above, with its original AKC registration papers, the buyer pays for all shipping costs, and shipping costs of replacement. Examination from which this diagnosis is made must be performed by a certified veterinary ophthalmologist, and a copy of the report must be forwarded to seller within 30 days. Inherited eye disorder guarantee is null and void unless the following conditions have been met: |

Diagnosis must be made before said dog is 5 years (60 months) of age. |

2. |
Seller reserves the right to obtain a second opinion, their cost. | |

Any use of this dog for breeding before: It is two years old, has a breeding passable OFA or Penn-hip number and a passing CERF number, renders the guarantee null and void. Buyer understands that in the case of a replacement, said dog is subject to all conditions and terms of the original contract. Replacement dogs may be, but are not guaranteed to be beyond pet companion quality.
Any pet, companion quality puppy or dog sold with a limited registration must be spayed or neutered by the age of one year. Buyer will supply seller with a certificate of spay/neuter from a licensed veterinarian within 30 days of surgery. Buyer understands that failure to meet these requirements may result in the repossession of said dog without recourse to buyer. If a companion family member dog is used for breeding at any time and has not been nutered, buyer is liable for the sum of $5,000.00 in liquidated damages each time said dog is used. Such breeding may result in the repossession of said dog without recourse to buyer.
Buyer agrees to complete at least basic obedience training, attending obedience classes preferably when possible. Some remote areas of Alaska, professional classes excepted. Buyer understands that the Chesapeake bay Retriever must be trained to realize the full potential of his abilities either as a valued family member or working retriever.
Any dog registered without the Wildwood prefix is not covered by this or any type of guarantee. Buyer agrees to all terms and conditions specified herein regarding the purchase of said dog. Any additions to this contract shall be noted below and initialed by both buyer and seller.
Buyer understands that all Wildwood pups and adult dogs are permanently tattooed and therefore identifiable.
If any provision of the agreement is or becomes void or unenforceable by force or operation of the law, the other provisions shall remain valid and enforceable. The entire agreement of the parties is contained herein. In the event of a dispute, Alaska State Law will have jurisdiction over the matter. |
